SUMMARY:AIR EP Member Day Upper EP (Wudinna\, 4 July 2024)
DESCRIPTION:  \n\nLearn about our speaker Kate Burke \nKate Burke founded Think Agri Pty Ltd after identifying a need for corporate and institutional investors to have access to astute experience based advice when considering key agri-investment decisions. Knowing the right questions to ask is fundamental to sound decision making. Kate’s 26 years of experience forms a library of critical questions to ask about any agricultural investment. \nKate also recognised that leading farm families could further improve their performance by taking the lead from corporate business practices when it comes to business planning and reporting. This is especially the case for any farm business considering intergenerational succession or contemplating accessing external capital from sources other than traditional debt funding via lending institutions. \nKate is a highly experienced independent farm consultant with a PhD in agronomy. Kate spent time in the corporate sector as commercial manager of one of the largest grain producers in Australia and knows what it takes to run a profitable farm business. \nThis background enables Think Agri to offer the very best strategic advice and guidance to investors and family farmers alike. \nEqually comfortable in boots or suits\, Kate’s great people skills and high level of expertise can help you to thrive in the agricultural industry\, so contact us today to find out more. \n

DESCRIPTION:Event postponed – New dates to be confirmed soon – for more information or to register interest contact Kim Blenkiron. \nKim Blenkiron\nExecutive Officer\nWoTL | Growing and inspiring women in agribusiness\nM: 0427 592 243\nE: eo@wotl.com.au\nW: wotl.com.au \nThe Regenerate Rural Women Program is a unique opportunity to take a step back from your day-to-day responsibilities and focus on the regeneration of self.\n\n\n\n\nWomen play a huge role and contribute largely and in immeasurable ways to the agricultural industry. Sometimes\, though\, we are not so good at looking after ourselves. \nEspecially during times of crisis or disruption\, we are often the glue holding families\, businesses and community together. We teeter on the edge of burnout\, risking everything we carry and crumbling in the process. \nThe Regenerate Rural Women program focuses on reconnecting you with your strengths\, experiences\, confidence\, and core values\, to support you while you are in service to your business\, family\, and community. \nTaking inspiration from the environment\, the program has been modelled around the adaptive cycles of nature. While the growth in spring and the harvest of summer are important\, so too are the phases of shedding in autumn and the planning and reorganisation of winter. Each phase needs to be given space for reflection and renewal\, to reimagine and redesign\, moving through the seasons to ultimately regenerate ourselves. \nWhile the core of the program is consistent across each region\, sessions are tailored to be relevant to the area\, the unique challenges and available support. Women are invited to gather with their peers\, to create space\, take time out\, renew their sense of self\, collaborate\, and come back to some really simple\, practical tips and tools\, that will help them feel more nourished\, inspired and empowered in the way that they live their lives. \n KEY DATES: CEDUNA \n\n\n\n14 February – Orientation (online)\n7 March – Workshop 1 (in-person)\n21 March – Group coaching (online)\n11 April – Workshop 2 (in-person)\n\n\n\nGather and connect with other women in your region and be guided by our experienced facilitators to explore your strengths\, experiences\, confidence\, and core values\, to support you while you are in service to your business\, family\, and community.\n\nFacilitator: Tanya and Lucy \nLimited places.
