DESCRIPTION:The farming challenge – decision making in the face of uncertainty \nBarry Mudge\, Barry Mudge Consulting \nThis livestream will delve into the dynamics of making decisions and judgements with incomplete information and uncertain conditions. Barry believes farmers are notoriously shrewd at operating in such circumstances however sees opportunity for improvement in how decisions are framed and analysed with what he calls “more informed intuition – not perfection”. This can be most critical when the decisions involve relatively high stakes. \nBarry has a practical background with farming in a highly variable low rainfall environment and has been directly involved in both the practical and technical aspects of agriculture for over 40 years.
