Event Details:

This is a free event being hosted by AIR EP for farmers and advisors, come and hear from:

  • Dr Chris McDonough on how to manage dry saline soils (magnesia patches) to improve crop and pasture production on these areas.
  • Dr Sean Mason on how and where to start with variable rate technology.

These events are funded by the Australian Government’s Future Drought Fund Extension & Adoption Program project “Building farming systems resilience and future proofing the impacts of drought through accelerating the adoption of proven costeffective and yield responsive soil and fertiliser management practices by farmers across southern Australia” and by the South Australian Drought Resilience Adoption and Innovation Hub, which is one of eight Hubs established across Australia through the Australian Government’s Future Drought Fund, for the project “Risky decisions and addressing soil constraints on EP”.
