Expressions of Interest are open to establish eID Producer Groups
Expressions of Interest are open for regionally-based South Australian Producer Groups looking to upskill their capabilities with the implementation of mandatory electronic identification (eID) for sheep and farmed goats.
Producer Groups will offer a supportive learning environment and an opportunity for sheep and goat producers to learn from experts and each other about how eID technologies and data-collection can improve productivity, efficiency and profitability in their businesses.
Funding of up to $20,000 (ex GST) is available to cover costs of eligible activities undertaken by each group.
Applications must be made as a group and each eID Producer Group must appoint a facilitator. The facilitator will be responsible for co-ordinating activities, reporting progress and outcomes to PIRSA and ensuring all data collection is undertaken. Applications close on 12 February 2025.
