Last small grant available for summer covers

| Posted in

Over the last four years, the EP Landscape Board in partnership with AIR EP have been working with landholders to investigate the roles of both autumn/winter and spring/summer sown multi-species cover crops on Eyre Peninsula.  This program, funded by the Australian Government, has helped landholders establish many proof of concept and investigatory plantings across the region in this time. The program is finishing up in 2023, and the results will be written up. However, we have one more grant left to be allocated, up to $6,000. If you have an idea for the planting of a cover crop in the next month, particularly to address a particular soil concern like erosion, excess water, or to improve surface cover after harvest, you are encouraged to get in touch with Josh Telfer  at susag@airep.com.au or 0460 000 290, to get an application form.
