What is the Precision Ag Expo?
The SPAA Precision Ag Expo is held annually in key South Australia growing regions, delivering quality education and innovation in precision agriculture education to SA producers.
This year, the team will head to McLaren Vale with a bumper program showcasing the latest in PA, robotics, machine automation and demonstrations on how PA can improve productivity and business operations. As a producer-focused event, the Expo will feature peer-to-peer learning, hands-on demonstrations and exposure to the latest research, trends, and opportunities in PA. Expo Program SPAA will deliver a “double knock” approach by engaging advisors to discuss the research and trends backed up by producers demonstrating the innovation from first-hand experience. The proposed themes will include:- Precision ag innovation in wine & horticulture.
- Managing your land from a precision perspective.
- Soil Climate; Plant Climate; Management Climate.
- Prescription Mapping & on-farm experimentation.
- Precision weeding.
- Panel session on the future of precision ag and machine automation.
