AIR EP AGM welcomes new Board member

The AIR EP Annual General Meeting was held earlier this week, chaired by Bill Long. Bill presented the Chair’s report and thanked outgoing board member Greg Scholz for his considerable contributions to agricultural RD&E in his time with AIR EP and prior to that with EPARF. Denis Pedler, of Carr’s Seeds, was elected as a new board member and we welcome Denis who has been participating in the Medium Rainfall RD&E Committee for the past 4 years. Congratulations to Matthew Cook, who has taken on the role of Public Officer, which was previously held by Greg Scholz.

Three special resolutions were passed at the meeting, the key change being that the Board shall comprise at least three (3) but no more than seven (7) members appointed and approved at an annual general meeting of Members. The previous maximum was 5 members be appointed and approved.
