FREE Counselling & Wellness Support Eyre Peninsula

To support our region during this time, Mind Australia is offering free, confidential mental health and wellbeing support through the Drought Mental Health Support Program, funded by the Government of South Australia. This support is available to anyone aged 16 and over who has been affected by drought or related pressures — whether directly or indirectly.

What’s Included

  • One-on-one counselling
  • Support for families and carers
  • Phone and telehealth options
  • Outreach visits to homes, farms, workplaces, or community spaces
  • Case management and recovery planning

No GP referral and no Medicare card is needed.

Who Can Access the Service?

Anyone aged 16+ living in regional or remote South Australia who has experienced the effects of drought, the algal bloom, or the flow-on impacts these events have created.

This includes:

  • individuals
  • families
  • employees
  • business owners
  • community members
  • carers
  • people experiencing isolation or stress
  • anyone feeling the pressure during this time
