ARLF Eyre Peninsula Engagement Tour
The Future Drought Fund Communities Program has now launched across South Australia, and our team will soon be spending the week on the Eyre Peninsula to connect with local communities and leaders.
Together with our colleagues from the Foundation for Rural and Regional Renewal, and Associate Paul Ryan from the Australian Resilience Centre, we’ll be travelling through the Eyre Peninsula region next week Feb 2-6 as a first touch point to the program.
The Communities Program supports leadership development, community-led projects and local grant opportunities that strengthen resilience and connection.
We’re planning to visit a number of communities including Port Lincoln, Whyalla, Kimba, Wudinna, Streaky Bay, Ceduna and Cummins to talk more about the program.
To find out more about the program and the available grant and leadership development opportunities please register your interest in one of the two-hour workshops listed below.
Whyalla – Workshop 3rd Feb
Wudinna – Workshop 4th Feb
Streaky Bay – Workshop 4th Feb
Cummins – Workshop 5th Feb
We understand this is short notice and that some of you may not be able to attend. Please see this as a first touch point only. There will be many more opportunities to be involved as the program rolls out.
If you are unable to attend the workshop times but would still like to connect while we are in town, please let us know. We are very happy to drop by or connect outside of workshop hours during this visit.
