Join the Eyre Peninsula Landscape Board for a free "Introduction to Carbon Farming" workshop designed to help farmers understand how carbon farming can complement their agricultural practices and enhance business sustainability. Delivered with support from the Commonwealth Government's Carbon Farming Outreach Program, this interactive session will cover key topics such as the fundamentals of carbon farming, the benefits for on-farm productivity, generating carbon credits, understanding and reducing carbon footprints, and calculating emissions intensity. Workshops will be held across multiple locations, including Kimba, Cummins, Port Kenny, Ceduna, Port Lincoln, and Wudinna, between March 24 and April 3, 2025. Morning tea will be provided.
