AIR EP welcomes Alvan Blanch Australia as 2025 Gold Sponsors!

Ag Innovation & Research Eyre Peninsula (AIR EP) is delighted to partner with Alvan Blanch Australia (ABA) as 2025 Gold Sponsors. Joining AIR EP in 2024, this is the second year ABA have partnered as Gold sponsors.

Aligning with grower groups is a high priority for ABA, who have identified groups like AIR EP as the most effective way to build relationships with local farmers and industry stakeholders.

In speaking about ABA’s branding strategy, Director Jim Duncan says “We identified the Eyre Peninsula as a region with potential harvest-moisture related challenges, which led us to the door of AIR EP. We saw an opportunity to work with AIR EP to understand the needs and challenges local farmers experience during harvest, whilst introducing our brand to the region.”

For ABA, 2025 has started with a flourish of orders in the Great Southern Region of WA. Clients in this region see drying systems as being a critical partner in the harvest process, allowing them to maximise efficiencies in paddock by establishing clear starting times, moisture management, and the ability to get all grain off the property within spec.

With over 20 deliveries to the region, our drying system has had a considerable impact on farming businesses up to 100km from coastal areas, with ABA delivering an average of 2-3 drying units every season.

“Our machines are recognised as being simple, easy to operate and from the eyes of a farmer’s daughter, it creates a less stressful time for everyone at harvest”, says Jim.

Sponsorship funding is a valuable part of AIR EP’s business, providing the not-for-profit organisation with an additional source of income to continue extending agricultural innovation and technology to Eyre Peninsula farmers.

“We maintain close relationships with each of our sponsors, including Alvan Blanch Australia, as their partnership is so important to our business and demonstrates a commitment to farmers and the broader agriculture sector in our region”, says AIR EP Executive Officer, Naomi Scholz.

Despite the dry conditions in 2024, ABA are keen to keep learning from farmers across the Eyre Peninsula and sharing information about their system and brand. “We are always ready to come and chat to farmers whether as group or on farm – it all starts with a chat”, says Jim.
