Break crop videos showcase local demonstrations in 2024

| Posted in

Two Eyre Peninsula break crop demonstrations were sown and monitored in the 2024 season as part of the “Building Resilience – Break Crop Suitability Across Landscapes Project”. This SA Drought Hub funded project monitored demonstration paddocks to further increase knowledge on break crop options to increase drought resilience.

• At Ungarra - lentils, faba beans and a lentil/faba bean mix was compared.
• At Lock – lentils & lupins were compared over different soil types.

Both videos are freely available to watch on the AIR EP Website, in the Break Crop Suitability Across Landscapes project page.
