Drought Economic Impact survey – Seeking farmer responses
Grain Producers SA and Livestock SA are undertaking research to understand the economic impacts of the 2024 and 2025 drought across South Australia.
If you are a grain grower, livestock producer or mixed farmer, you are invited to share your experience through a short survey exploring the direct impacts of drought on farm businesses, including production, costs, revenue, debt, investment and business decisions.
The findings will help build a stronger evidence base to support future drought advocacy, preparedness and support for South Australian producers.
All responses are confidential and will only be reported in aggregate. The research is being independently managed by Adelaide-based research agency Square Holes on behalf of Grain Producers SA and Livestock SA.
