Improving farm business management decision making for grain growers
Stronger farm business decisions – for you and your region
Rising input costs, volatility, and margin pressure are increasing the complexity of business decisions in grain production. Pinion Advisory, in collaboration with AIR EP and BFIG, is delivering a structured two-year program to help Eyre Peninsula growers build confidence in their business direction using real data, not guesswork and within a peer based environment.
This GRDC investment is designed to strengthen your understanding of profit drivers, cost structure, and capital allocation decisions through a combination of individual analysis and peer learning tailored to your region.
The program provides participants with:
- Two years of business benchmarking and confidential one-on-one debriefs.
- Peer group workshops and targeted webinars addressing priority business themes relevant to where you live and farm.
- Aggregated regional benchmarking insights to identify structural profit drivers and where opportunities may lie for your business.
Program Timeline:
- May – July 2026: Benchmarking collection and debrief.
- August 2026: Year 1 Workshop (Central Eyre Peninsula).
The cost is free. The program is an investment of the Grains Research and Development Corporation (GRDC). The primary investment required from participants is time, engagement, and commitment to the full program cycle.
