The tour will then return to the Cummins Sports Club for Canola fungicide updates with Andrew Ware, EPAG Research, and a Weed Management Initiative update and Q&A session with Dr Chris Preston, Adelaide University.
Following lunch, the Farming Systems South team will be running a short survey and workshop for farmers. The survey is designed to better understand information farmers need when making cropping system and enterprise decisions.
Your feedback will help guide the next stage of the Farming Systems South project, including how future field trials and research can be better targeted to address practical gaps in crop management. The survey will take around 40 minutes (plus breaks), and participants will receive a $100 Woolworths voucher for completing it. We are aiming for around 20 farmers to take part in the survey.
Optional carpooling from Cummins Oval is available, departing at 8:30am. If driving, the meeting point is the first stop at 1724 Strawberry Hill Road, Edillilie at 8:50am.
