New break crop videos showcase local demonstrations in 2025

| Posted in

Two Eyre Peninsula break crop demonstrations were sown and monitored in the 2025 season as part of the “Building Resilience – Break Crop Suitability Across Landscapes: Stage 2”. This SA Drought Hub funded project monitored demonstration paddocks to further increase knowledge on break crop options to increase drought resilience. This year in season observations were the feature of videos.

  • At Ungarra–Lentils and faba beans over a variety of soil types were compared.
  • At Minnipa – Vetch and field peas on sandy soils were compared.

Both videos are freely available to watch on the AIR EP Website, in the Break Crop Suitability Across Landscapes: Stage 2 project page.
