NEW Event | Pastures ‘Walk n Talk’ Fri 19 June
Join AIR EP for a practical pastures walk covering pasture establishment, feed on offer, stocking rates, livestock nutrition & herbicide strategies to help build a stronger pasture base & lift livestock production.
Hosted by local livestock producer and pastures enthusiast David Low, this informal session will include open discussions with independent livestock coordinator, Hannah Gordon and local agronomists Richard Norris and Mackenzie Best. In addition, EP Drones are heading along to complete a small seed broadcasting demonstration (subject to weather).
Come along to hear about:
- Establishing new pasture species
- Improving pasture base and gearing up your livestock production
- Estimating feed on offer & setting a stocking rate
- Matching nutritional needs to livestock with available feed on offer
- Pasture management strategies
