New webinar series – Friday Climate Forum #1

| Posted in

As part of our Sustainable Agriculture Program, we are starting a new lunchtime webinar series to focus on weather and climate. The first session will be held on Friday 1 May from 12.30 to 1.15pm SA time.

Hosted by AIR EP, the first session features Seasonal Risk Agronomist with Agriculture Victoria, Dale Grey. Dale will discuss historic timing of the break, current soil moisture, oceanic and atmospheric indices and what the models are predicting for the next 6 months. Importantly, he will unpack what all this talk of Super El Nino means or doesn’t mean for the Eyre Peninsula.

We have a couple more scheduled for 22 May and 12 June.

We will be recording the sessions, so even if you cannot make the scheduled sessions, we will be recording them, so make sure you register for each webinar to either attend or be sent a link to the recording.

If you have any climate or weather related questions or topics you would like addressed in this series, please email them to Naomi Scholz, [email protected] and we’ll see what we can do.
