PIRSA Flood Recovery Pest and Weeds program update
There is still a lot happening in the Flood Recovery Pest and Weeds program.
The Weed Control Business Grant
- The application period has been extended to 28th February 2025 to provide more time to raise awareness of the program among potential beneficiaries
- We’ve had an encouraging number of applications for the program so far, along with positive feedback on its potential to benefit the regions

The Primary Producer Grant
- Is now available
- Eligible applicants can receive a grant of up to $40,000 (ex GST) to carry out a range of weed and pest management initiatives
- Applications are open until 31 March 2025 or until the funding is exhausted, whichever occurs first

- The targeted assistance weed control program will continue up until mid-June, with one or two rounds of control works possible. Rainfall and weather dependent
