Plan to Profit workshop series: Upskilling farm business management
Gain more confidence in the financial performance of your farm. Ensuring the farm passes to the next generation takes good planning, not just hope. Plan to Profit provides an easy-to-use business system to monitor and plan your farm for success. You will become proficient with P2PAgri software and speak more effectively with your farming team, bank, and accountant.
The ‘Plan to Profit’ course was originally developed for Tocal Agricultural College in NSW (https://www.tocal.nsw.edu.au/courses/short-courses/agskilled/plan-to-profit) and has a proven track record of delivering strong results for students.
Normally priced at $6,000 (GST incl.) per business, AIR EP has secured funding to reduce the cost to just $500 (GST incl.) per business. This is a one-off offer as further funding for this course is unlikely.
What Makes This Course Unique
- Your data, your learning – You use your own business data, giving you a clearer picture of your financial performance.
- P2PAgri software – You’ll use this industry-leading farm business financial cloud platform throughout the course.
- Tailored learning – A mix of group Zoom sessions and private 1:1 Zooms with Mike, designed around your needs.
- Confidentiality guaranteed – Your business data is only discussed in your private 1:1 Zoom sessions with Mike.
- Integrates with your existing software – P2PAgri connects with Xero, MYOB, and other accounting tools, eliminating double data entry and spreadsheet overload.
Proven Results
We have been running this course for five years, training up to 100 NSW farmers annually. Farmer feedback has been outstanding as participants consistently prefer this approach to financial management training, and our completion rates far exceed industry averages.
No high level of financial literacy or computer skills is required. We actively encourage questions in an environment where there are no dumb questions.
What You’ll Learn
- Better understand your tax returns and identify key business trends
- Ask your accountant better questions
- Understand what your bank needs and present your data effectively to secure the best possible interest rates
Your Time Commitment
Approximately 6 hours per week. All group Zoom sessions are recorded, so you can fit the course around your schedule. The course runs over 5 fortnights. Each fortnight opens with a Group Zoom (training + discussion), you complete
homework, then close with a 1:1 Zoom with your trainer to ask questions about your own numbers. Every Group Zoom is
recorded so you can watch at a time that suits you.
Course Schedule
TBA = to be arranged at a time that suits you. 1:1 Zooms are one-hour private sessions between you and Mike to review your work.
