The Pannell Discussions RiskWi$e series is a series of easy-to-read discussions, explanations and examples on risk and behavioural science written for the Australian grains industry by David Pannell, University of Western Australia.

In this first post ‘Risk in Australian grain farming’, David outlines the types of risk that farm business managers face, including production risk, price risk or market risk, financial risk, institutional risk and human or personal risk.
In future posts, David will look at agricultural risks from various angles.
