What’s Happening in the Paddock?
September is Sticky Beak season across the Eyre Peninsula, with a series of local days giving farmers the chance to get out in the paddock, see what is happening across the district and catch up with other growers.
Sticky Beak Days are a great opportunity to take a look over local crops, trials and farming systems while having practical, paddock-side conversations about how the season is unfolding. They are also a chance to compare what is happening between farms and districts and hear directly from other growers about what they are seeing and trying this year.
There is a strong line-up of days still to come across the Eyre Peninsula this September:
- Streaky Bay Sticky Beak – Friday 11 September
- Far West Crop Comp & Sticky Beak Day, Penong – Monday 14 September
- Goode Ag Bureau Sticky Beak Day, Ceduna – Tuesday 15 September
- Buckleboo Farming Improvement Group Cropwalk, Kimba – Wednesday 16 September
- Elliston Sticky Beak Day – Friday 18 September
- Minnipa Farmers Sticky Beak – Monday 21 September
- Wirrulla Farmer Sticky Beak – Tuesday 22 September
- Roberts Verran Sticky Beak Day – Friday 25 September
Whether there is a day happening in your own district or you are interested in having a look at what growers are doing elsewhere on EP, farmers are encouraged to get involved.
Programs and further details for individual days are being updated as they become available.
Keep an eye on the AIR EP Events page for the latest Sticky Beak Day details and local contact information..
