AIR EP 2026 AGM | Farewell & Welcome
Following this morning’s Annual General Meeting, AIR EP would like to recognise and thank our retiring Board Members for their dedication, leadership, and invaluable contributions to agricultural research, development and extension across the Eyre Peninsula.
We sincerely thank Ken Webber and Matthew Cook for their service, insight and dedication over several years. Their guidance has played a significant role in shaping and supporting the growth of our organisation, and agricultural RD&E across the region. We wish them both the best in their future endeavours and look forward to their continued involvement in the broader community.

At the same time, we’re pleased to welcome our new Board Members, Marty Lovegrove (Cleve) and Jake Hull (Poochera), who bring a wealth of experience, fresh perspectives and deep connections within the industry. Their backgrounds span across agronomy, business leadership, research and community engagement—ensuring a strong and diverse board as we move forward.
Bill Long (Chair) and Denis Pedler are elected until October 2026, and did not require renomination at this AGM. Existing members Mary Rowe, Daniel Adams, Greg Arthur, and Mark Stanley (annual nomination) were renominated and elected following completion of their 2-year terms.
In addition to electing the Board, special resolutions 6.2(a)(i), 3(b) and 3(d) to change the Constitution were passed. AIR EP will administer these changes to the Constitution accordingly.
We look forward to the knowledge and energy our new members will bring, and to continuing our work together in supporting a vibrant and resilient future for our region. Thank you to our existing members for continuing to provide leadership and direction to AIR EP.
AIR EP will feature complete bios of our new members via the newsletter, website and social media in coming weeks.
