Applications open for the 2027 AgriFutures Rural Women’s Award & Acceleration Grant
Applications are now open for the 2027 AgriFutures Rural Women’s Award and the AgriFutures Rural Women’s Award Acceleration Grant.
For more than 25 years, the AgriFutures Rural Women’s Award has recognised and supported women who are creating positive change across rural, regional and remote Australia through their businesses, initiatives, community programs and projects.
The two opportunities:
- The Award provides funding, leadership development opportunities and access to a powerful national alumni network.
- The Acceleration Grant offers women with an idea, cause, or vision the chance to create impact in rural and emerging industries and communities by providing opportunities for learning and development to bring their vision to life.
We also invite you to participate in our new Champion Her nomination pathway. Champion Her enables individuals and organisations to nominate women they believe have strong leadership potential, a bold idea, or a passion for creating positive change in rural, regional and remote Australia.
Whether it’s a woman leading change in her community or an alumna ready to take the next step in her leadership journey, this is an opportunity to invest in the future of rural Australia.
Applications open on Wednesday, 9 September 2026 Rural Women’s Award and close on Wednesday, 4 November 2026
(Wednesday, 20 January 2027 for NT applicants).
