On Farm Connectivity Program – Round 3 Now Open

Round 3 of the On Farm Connectivity Program is now open for grant (rebate) applications for eligible Primary Producers, submitted through Round 3 Approved Suppliers. A total of $10 million is available, with rebates from $1,000 to $20,000 (GST exclusive) for eligible expenditure.

To support the take up of connected machinery and sensor technologies, priority will be given to applications from eligible Primary Producers who have not received a benefit under earlier rounds of the Program. Applications will close 15 October 2026.

The department has published the Round 3 List of Approved Suppliers and each Approved Supplier’s Final List of Eligible Equipment, including prices. Primary Producers can use this information to compare approved products and suppliers before applying.

Round 3 retains the core program model, with eligible connectivity and ag-tech equipment available through Approved Suppliers that have been selected through an Expression of Interest process. Feedback received through public consultation in July–August 2025, as well as lessons from earlier rounds, has informed targeted changes to settings to support fairer access to funding.

Information from previous rounds, including previous Approved Suppliers, Lists of Eligible Equipment and Grant Opportunity Guidelines, should not be used as a reference for Round 3.
