EP Water Security Update | June 2025
SA Water continue to spread the messages on water security across the Eyre Peninsula.
As detailed in the recent Eyre Peninsula Desalination Project June 2025 update, the Water Security & Futures team have been actively engaging with local communities on the Water Security Response Plan, water efficiency measures and providing updates on the Eyre Peninsula Desalination project.
The team also hosted the fourth Primary Producer Roundtable, engaging farmers and industry representatives to discuss practical ways to implement water-saving practices within the agricultural sector.
In addition to the SA Water update, GPSA hosted a Webinar on 11 June updating grain producers on the situation with water security and availability on the Eyre Peninsula. Webinar participants received updates from SA Water, the Eyre Peninsula Landscape Board and AIR EP Chair, Bill Long.
