With many farms and agribusinesses throughout the Southern Region being impacted by untoward seasonal conditions, frost, decreased livestock prices not to mention workforce challenges as well as cost of inputs, the 2023 season is certainly presenting some challenges.
Kate provides a practical and pragmatic approach to farming with over 30 years experience as an agricultural scientist in the dryland cropping sector. Kate provides a unique blend of evidence, insight and empathy and will talk about coping with disappointment, managing expectations/disappointment and managing the mental load.
