Mapping soil water spatially and temporally across farms on the Eyre Peninsula

Can soil water be mapped across paddocks and farms in real time using soil moisture probe data and digital soil mapping techniques? The Resilient EP project tested methods to map soil water in real time on two farms on the Lower EP. Whilst some promising results were demonstrated, the lack of data restricted the accuracy of the mapping.

In this video Mark Thomas from the CSIRO presents the second of two parts of his research in the Resilient EP project. This part focuses on mapping soil water spatially and temporally across farm landscapes using the Adams and Wilksch farms on the lower Eyre Peninsula as case studies.
