To enter post your photo on social media and simply include #EPSeeding2024 in the description and tag AIR EP in the photo. You need to be a follower of AIR EP to qualify to enter.

Entrant eligibility

All categories are open to amateur photographers only. For the purposes of this competition an amateur photographer is defined as someone who has not earned more than $5,000 from photography (including videography) in any 12-month period in the previous five years, dating from the time of entry and has not completed their final year of study in a tertiary-level, multi-year photography qualification. (Note: For the purposes of this competition, photography earnings includes money earned from photo sales, photo education, photography tours, commercial work, and photo competitions. Non-cash prizes won in photography competitions, such as camera equipment and travel, are not considered earnings.)

1. The photo competition is open to people residing on the Eyre Peninsula, you must be following AIR EP on the social media platform you intend to submit your photo on.

2. There are two entry categories; Still photo & Short Video/Reel.

3. Only five entries per participant is allowed.

Digital manipulation

4. The photograph must be the original work of the person entering the competition.

Copyright

5. The entrant must be the creator of the image they enter into the competition.

6. By submitting your entry, you agree to grant AIR EP permission and the rights to use and display your photo for promotional purposes. Images will be credited with the name of the photographer if used by AIR EP.

7. AIR EP may request an emailed version of the photo or reel.

Closing date

8. Closing date for entries is 5.00pm (AEDT) on Friday 31 May 2024.

Judging

9. The winning entries will be selected by judges appointed by AIR EP staff.

10. Judges decisions are final and no further correspondence will be entered into.

Prizes

11. There are 2 categories, a winner from each category will each be awarded a prize package. The winners will receive a framed printed photograph of the image taken by the entrant and an AIR EP branded Yeti tumbler.

12. The entrant acknowledges and agrees that if the Prize is unavailable, for whatever reason, AIR EP reserves the right to substitute the prize for a prize of equal or greater value.

Winners’ announcement

13. The winning entrant will be notified through their contact details provided either via email or phone.

14. Winners will be publicly announced on Friday 10 June via AIR EP’s media platforms.

General

15. By entering images into this competition, the entrant warrants that all of the above Terms and Conditions have been met. Any entry found to breach the above terms and conditions will be disqualified.
