Welcome Bendigo Bank Agribusiness – Gold Sponsors in 2025

AIR EP is again proud to welcome Bendigo Bank Agribusiness as Gold sponsors in 2025.
In conjunction with Community Bank Cummins District and Community Bank Port Lincoln, Bendigo Bank Agribusiness have partnered with AIR EP as a Gold sponsor since inception in 2020.

Community Company Manager, Braden Gale understands the importance of the farming community to our region. “The partnership provides an opportunity to invest in an industry that is critical to our local communities across the Eyre Peninsula. Agriculture forms a significant part of our business, with more than $265 million in agribusiness lending and deposits held on Eyre Peninsula through the Community Bank Cummins District and Community Bank Port Lincoln branches, and agencies located in Tumby Bay, Cleve and Wudinna.
As well as the convenience of our branch and agency network, our three local Agribusiness Relationship Managers work closely with our farming customers to understand their needs and goals and deliver expert guidance.
To date, Community Bank Cummins District and Community Bank Port Lincoln have shared over $12.3m in profit with our communities on Eyre Peninsula through grants and sponsorship. Recent examples of this community investment include a $500,000 pledge to Matthew Flinders Home for the upgrade of their aged care facility, $450,000 towards building the Cummins Community Sports Club, and $550,000 to upgrade the Cummins Memorial Swimming Pool. This investment is only possible due to our customers choosing to do their banking business through our Community Bank branches and agencies”, says Braden.
Of the ongoing partnership with Bendigo Bank, AIR EP Executive Officer Naomi Scholz confirms long term partnerships with local organisations are critical to our business.
“To have companies like Bendigo Bank supporting Eyre Peninsula farmers, by investing in organisations such as AIR EP, it speaks volumes towards their recognition of the value and importance of agriculture across our region”.
The Bendigo Bank Agribusiness Insights team regularly releases industry ‘deep dives’ to provide existing and prospective clients with research and analysis into commodities, farmland values, business performance and topical agricultural issues, providing producers with a timely overview of current trends and an outlook for the months ahead. In reflecting further about local community support, Braden says “banking with Bendigo Bank means that your agribusiness is choosing to partner with a bank that both supports you to succeed into the future and makes a positive impact in the communities we call home.”
