The Eyre Peninsula Landscape Board (EPLB) is one of eight regional Boards collaborating to deliver the overarching project titled SA Carbon Outreach: Trusted advisors empower all SA land managers.

The project will deliver training and advice to empower Eyre Peninsula farmers and land managers to be informed on carbon markets and options for incorporating low emission technologies and practices into farming operations and land management practices.
This will be achieved through the appointment of a regionally embedded Carbon Outreach Officer (COO). The COO will deliver 12 workshops with a combined minimum total of 133 participants between the 2024/25 and 2025/26 years.

Amy Wright and Rebekah Peters are delivering the Carbon Outreach Officer for AIR EP. In 2025 6 Introduction to Carbon Farming workshops were delivered with a total of 53 participants. Amy has presented to the EP RDA board on Carbon Farming & Emissions reduction.

The next series of 8 workshops will commence in March 2026 to be delivered by June 2026. Locations are still being finalised, with potential for two webinars being delivered online.
