New podcast has landed | The Livestock Lowdown
AIR EP has released the first episode of The Livestock Lowdown, a podcast series for Eyre Peninsula’s mixed and livestock farmers.
In this spring update, Livestock Coordinator Hannah Gordon speaks with veterinarian Dr Colin Trengove of Pro Ag Consulting about sheep health issues that can come with a good growing season.
The conversation covers worms, trace elements and flystrike, along with ram checks before joining and what to consider as lambs move onto dry feed, stubbles or grain.
With harvest approaching, the episode is a useful prompt to check what needs attention in the flock before time gets tight. Colin shares practical observations to help producers decide what to monitor and when to seek local advice.
